Do you Dance To Remeber Or Dance To Forget?

Discuss.

To Dance or not to Dance

Most of the time I dance for the hell of it, its fun. On couple of occations I have danced and got drunk to forget my problems. So it can be both, depending on each person. The last time I danced and got drunk was on my birthday on last week of August.

well

Hypothetically there's this girl who dances to get laid. Remembering or forgetting is dependent on whether it was good or not.

careless whisper? (WHAM!)

that would depend on where and why I am dancing.

around my apartment, for a little stress relief = temporary distraction

to a specific song, related to a person/time in my life = to remember or forget, it's all relative

at a bar with friends = sheerly hedonistic and dependant upon the bar in question

my body tells a story in movement.
raised in a studio, and once out of the studio, lived on the stage.

Dancing Queen

I only dance once per year. That's it. It happens during Portland Pride during our big gay disco dance. It's FABULOUS! :)

So to answer your question, I dance because I've forgotten how bad I am at it. *lol*

I dance...

... to get out of my head.

Results, to this point, have been mixed. It works best with fire and incense and chanting, rather than flashing lights and dance music. Circles are better than crowds. :-)
