My Opinion

Anonymous's picture

I guess that after I say all of this, everyone will hate me. Comments are welcome, especially if you disagree with me; I'd love to hear some other peoples' opinions...

Why do people like Kerry so much?? He wants to hand the war over to people who accept fucking bribes. Yeah, I'm sure that'll turn out real well. Everyone thinks that Bush lied. There's a difference between being told something by someone, and lying. Everyone told Bush that Iraq had weapons they weren't supposed to have. They made a deal with the U.S. to get rid of those weapons, and then they taunted us and made many people think that they DID have them. Which automatically gave us the right to go in there and find out if they had weapons or not. And yeah, once that was finished, we should have left them alone. But it wasn't Bush's fault they didn't have weapons. Would you rather him not have gone in there? What if they DID have the weapons and they decided to attack us? Then what? Then wouldn't you have been saying you wished Bush would've gone in and found the weapons?? Everyone told Bush that they had weapons, too. The CIA told him. The UN told him. What the hell was he supposed to do? Not check for the weapons and possibly leave his country in danger? I don't agree with everything he does and says, but I sure as hell wouldn't feel safe if Kerry was president. And I know that other people feel the same way. And that others would feel safer if Kerry WAS president. But everywhere I go, I see people talking shit about Bush and Republicans and Conservatives. On this site, too. And I'm so sick of holding it inside. I just felt I needed to express my opinion, too, because no one in my town seems to share my opinion. I hope everyone who reads this is open-minded enough to accept my opinion and not hate me for it. I don't hate anyone else for wanting to vote for Kerry, I just don't necessarily see why they would want to. But I'm more than willing to hear what everyone has to say. If people are pissed off at me after saying all of this, so be it. I'm just expressing myself like everyone else.

the un told him?

so who lied to bush exactly?

The general consensus is that bush knew full well that there likely weren't weapons, but there were bucket loads of oil. You will find a lot of gay folk tend to be on the left side of politics, and take objection to other countries being annexed for their natural resources.

America's war on terrorism, much like it's war on drugs .. is a war that you can't win, but it's very definition. Bush has proven time and time again that he is as close to true evil as we've seen (save dick cheney).

Right now, i think kerri's best thing going for him, is that he is not bush. While that certainly isnt a reason to elect someone (ie: least of two evils) , america's flawed election system leaves you with no option.

You should be really worried about what bush/chenye want to do with your civil liberties, and the privacy aspects of it. America is on it's way to becoming a police state.

is also pretty damn evil.

he was appointed by dubya, and removing bush removes that devious POS from power too.

For me. . .

For me it's the fact that he seems so irresponsible. He didn't read documents that mentioned the threat of attack. I'm sure, that it's hard to read something like that and know what to do but he didn't read them at all. Secondly, Bush, spent 42% of his first seven months on vacation! It seems like he's priorities aren't straight. Thirdly, the CIA should have known better than to trust the people they did because it was not like they were saints. As well, he keeps pushing things that don't need to be pushed like the "Iraq-al queda link" and the gay-marriage amendment. And seriously, how often does the military lose records and of all people it has to be the president. It seems kind of fishy to me. John Kerry may not be perfect or whatever but it just seems like he's the lesser of two evils.
