I haven't posted in a while, and I don't feel like doing a long journal entry at the moment (not as long as before anyway).
A lot has happened. I did well in my IB exams. Nearly everyone in my year did. We're all leaving, one by one, heading for university. At an outing to bid my current crush farewell, one of my previous crushes decided borrowed a shirt that was clearly made for girls, and acted really effeminate. He chased the most homophobic guy in our year around a bit, but then he put his shirt back on, for better or worse. But now my current crush, D, is gone, and I am more attracted to him than before.
I also came out to two more girls on the same night, but at different times. The first one said she was questioning her sexuality, since she was attracted to girls and guys. I so didn't expect that. The second one, whom I had a crush on when I thought I was straight, was really cool with it and gave me a hug after I told her. That makes twelve people who I've come out to.
And now that we're arranging my flight to Boston in September, I'm trying to convince my dad to give me a long stopover in the gay mecca of San Francisco rather than have to pay for accommodation in Boston. If I'm able to convince him, then I'll buy some gay paraphernalia to wear to college. If I do get any rainbow stuff, I think I won't ever wear more than one thing at a time, as rainbows don't really suit me (I'll only wear them because I don't believe in the strength of everyone else's gaydar).
I have a job working at a restaurant, but only on weekends. It's not worth the money, but it's fun. Everyone at work is really friendly and helpful, and I'm considering coming out to someone at work. I'm been doing a bit of jogging, with a heavy backpack to make the exercise more strenuous. I've seen nearly every English movie showing in our cinema. I'm making good progress in playing J.S. Bach's Tocatta and Fugue in D Minor on the piano. All my friends talk about how bored they are, but I've been really busy, and this is turning out to be one of my best summer holidays ever.
