I just

Use a little bit of it...not like, transforming every single word.

And still I dream he'll come to me,

And we will live the years together.

I absolutely hate it. All the letters you
need are on the keyboard! Use them! O_o

Ah.. I don't mind it that much. I just skip
the messages written like that. Usually.

matters is what we do."

It depends, really. My friend

It depends, really. My friends and I use it in class, when we're taking notes quickly, and when we want to pass notes to each other. I also use it on MSN etc. But not in emails, in my journals, in everything else, really.

Ick...I can't use it. I mean,

Ick...I can't use it. I mean, when chatting I type like a talk...I dont shorten everything or mix in random numbers.

Plus, I correct typos like a mad woman...hehe.

It doesnt bug me as much when other people use it...though I cant talk to them for long periods of time without zoning out.

This is my 'other opinion': I

This is my 'other opinion': I'll use it when chatting for quick shorthand. gtg is useful when you suddenly have to run to the kitchen because somethings burning. As is brb.

wb is fast and easy acknoledgement of a returning chatter and doesnt break the flow of what someone else might be saying with long comments, etc.

Outside of the chatbox, and outside of quick, useful, every-one-knows-what-you're-saying acronyms, I can't stand it. especially not in email, where you have all the time in the world to tipe things out.

Once upon a time, we had to write things longhand, get and envelope, get a stamp, go at least as far as the mailbox . . . . Now we're too lazy to tap an extra button?

Chatspeak- the destroyer of the English language

The only things that I EVER say in chatspeak are OMG and BRB. Anything more than that makes me gag.

Far across the Sea, to where I
Wait upon the Shore of Wonder

And the Tree is split asunder.*~
