Hey all! Sorry for hijacking

Hey all! Sorry for hijacking the polling for a few days- I hope I don't annoy too many people. These are the books people were talking about wanting in the forum- so I apologise if I missed any off.
In the case of a tie, then- uh- I dunno, I'll pick one and the others can go through to the next poll we do.

Any objections? Send me a message of post here.

Of the list, I've only read G

Of the list, I've only read Geography Club. I found it had a really pessimistic outlook, you might want something a little happier.

But, its entirely up to you.

i've never read any of those

i've never read any of those books so i can't say. but has anyone ever read Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger? there's no glbt slant, but it's really good. also fear and loathing in las vegas, by hunter s. thompson, or anything by kurt vonnegut who has some awesome satires.

hijacking...

I'm not sure how the poll changes anymore, whether that's automatic or Adrian/adbak or someone pushing a new one up, but you can always directly link to a poll from the book club thread, so even if it drifts off the front page, people can find it.

Considering the makeup of Oasis, it might be good to switch off between girl books and boy books on occassion, since a lot of gay fiction is exclusively one or the other.

Also, encourage people who don't plan to read the book for book club to NOT vote, since who cares what they think? :-)
