Honestly, fag (even though i'm a girl) and dyke. it's crazy what my school is like... there's lots of neo-nazis. My friends have gotten notes in their lockers that have said "The devil's gonna rape you good, fag." "you're gay, go home." "Get out dyke!" and allsorts of other things... i try not to hate them, but it's hard.

I have yet to be officially out at school, so no one's called me a dyke or fag, but most often I'm called "little girl." It's a joke, so I don't mind! I am after all 5' 2" and 114 pounds...I feel tiny.

This always leads to interesting conversations on my part!

I chose gay, but that's never been used against me derogatorily, nor has any of the aforementioned words.

I don't really hear any of those at my school, and when I do occasionally hear "gay," it's not directed to me or anyone's just the whole, "That's so gay" thing. basically, I don't really hear any of them. Yay??

I don't mind

I don't mind 'gay' being used as an insult, but I am often just adressed as 'gay'

I've started thinking after hearing these words, and countless others, some just with the purpose to offend gays.
And I think we should use them more often ourselves! I mean, if we use them as normal words just to describe some one gay, they won't have the same meaning, nor the same effect when said. It's like we discredit the cruel words by accepting them as our own.

Food for thought.
