Rent and the Stalker Girl

ACCgirl's picture

I’ve heard from everyone thus far that Rent = great.

So there’s this girl that wants to take me to Rent (specifying that she wants to take me alone) and she’s constantly trying to frenziedly jabber her way into friendship – or whatevership- with me. And really, spastic is not exactly what I’d consider an attractive quality. See, I’d avoid her, but she’s turned herself into a parasite. A very sticky, annoying, albeit intelligent parasite.

She’s one of those people you’re fine with in small doses and in a neutral setting – such as high school class rooms, a few rows over. But not alone at movie theatres or showing up at your front door unannounced, leaving you to wonder how in the hell she knew where you lived. The more I contemplate the situation, the more she seems to be displaying stalker-like behavior.

She spent all of the English class period yesterday droning on about me to my best friend. My best friend approached me after class, yanked me aside, and said, “Houston, we have a problem.

That...is actually very creep

That...is actually very creepy. I think you should sit her down and tell her how you're feeling outright before she gets crushed. I've had this happen to me before, and if you keep on doing it, eventually they'll get it. It's sad to hurt people, but your own sanity should come first!

And I hope you enjoy Rent anyways:)

I’m not as sad as Doestoevsky,
I’m not as clever as Mark Twain,
I’ll only buy a book for the way it looks,
And I'll stick it on the shelf again.

Umm...

That is very, very creepy. I do hope that it doesn't escalate and that soon she detaches herself from you. Shadows can be fun but sometimes you just want to be alone without even a shadow.
