Pink, indigo, holidays.

I bought P!nk's new album I'm Not Dead. It's not bad but it's not as good as Misundaztood...I like Who Knew, Dear Mr. President and Leave Me Alone. Despite the elementary school political opinions illustrated in Dear Mr. President, I did like:

What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away?
What kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay?

This song features the Indigo Girls who I've never heard of but are apparently out lesbians. Anyone else heard their stuff?

No public gay antics as of late (provided you discount buying P!nk's album).

Coursework is due in at the end of this easter break. I've done hardly any. In fact, English I've not written a word. Every time I think of school I panic, and so I shut it off. And I need to start thinking about next year now too. Argh.

We booked Africa at last! We're also going to Rome in July (probably), and then New York next year! Whoo! Hopefully will be able to post some awesome pictures.

Edit: Oh yes, I bought this t-shirt (look at the price tag), it arrives, and it's too tight. Not only does it make me "look gay", it makes me look as if I have a pair of tits. Or maybe it's my imagination. Anyway, I'm utterly lazy and as much as I know the sane thing to do is to send it back and get £40 back, I know it's likely going to sit in my bedroom forever. It wouldn't look so bad if I wore my jacket. But it's getting to be non-jackety weather now, which is why I bought it in the first place...argh.

Awesome

I bought the same CD. It's awesome. I love the songs "I'm Not Dead" and "'Cuz I Can". I'm glad that her CD is becoming more famous.

Oh yeah, Cuz I Can is a good

Oh yeah, Cuz I Can is a good song too :) I'm Not Dead is a little too rocky for me, I like the chorus though.

Me and my mum are pink fans ever since Misundaztood. Then I got Can't Take Me Home. I never bought Try This because I didn't like the singles, and I don't think it was a very good album in general. This is a good return :)

The Indigo Girls are on P!nk'

The Indigo Girls are on P!nk's record?! AWESOME!!! The Indigo Girls are one of my favorite bands . . . kind of folk/light rock, and very good. If you wanted to check out an album or two, I would recommend "Strange Fire" and "Rites of Passage".

how does that shirt make you look gay?

It just looks like a shirt to me- then again, i know nothing about style or fashion, and i don't feel the need to...I have heard the indigo girls before, they used to be pretty popular in the U.S., i had no idea they were lesbians though...the only group i know of for sure that are lesbians is tatu and maybe pink...later.

Kenya is where we're staying,

Kenya is where we're staying, probably cross over to Tanzania for safaris and whatnot.

Hellonwheels: Pink's not a lesbian, she's married or something (to a man) :) Rome isn't that much money, cheap flights nowadays, it's goin to cost about £300 in total, but only because I'm staying in a 4 star hotel. Could have opted for 3 star and got it about £180, but I'm a snob :P Of course if you live in like America or something, going to Rome is going to be a lot more expensive!
