All those little things I love in life

Sway's picture

They say that happiness lies in those little details in life that cause a smile upon our faces. I was just thinking about that yesterday, trying to find those little things that make me happy every now and then. I was surprised to see how many of them are there.

I love how when it rains, I’m safe inside my room, watching the sky’s tears drop and getting hypnotized by their gracious rhythm.

I love the way a grande hot white chocolate mocha to go from Starbucks can be so divinely combined with a fine cigarette, while a lousy professor is teaching and I’m talking with Evangeline and Faith without him noticing.

I love how every time I talk to Lilah, this thought keeps coming back in my mind: “She knows I’m gay and she’s fine with it, I love her

If there wern't the small things the world wouldn't really be worth it. Always look for the little things, they actually happen and are the most important

I've wondered it and have a good idea of what they are. I wouldn't go so far as to use the word "happy," but I've things that get me nearly to that point.

Yay! Happy = good. Keep up that snazzy attitude and fate will take notice.

"Those who dream by night, in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that all was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, and make it possible." T.E. Lawrence
