GOOD-BYE, WRITER'S BLOCK! I'm going to miss you... (not)

I've had writer's block for a year or two now, but I am pleased to say: it has gone with the wind! I've been able to write songs and poetry during this time, but no stories. Now, I've gotten back the ability to write a book I was working on before. I know I'm probably kind of young to be writing a book, but oh well. I've just been finishing the characters' biographies, and I'm planning on rewriting the chapters I had written before I came down with writer's block.

On another hand, it's official: I am a fledgling anime/manga fangirl now. I bought a manga from my school's book fair called "By the Sword", and I'm planning to check some more out from the library. I've also been watching Yu Yu Hakusho and Inuyasha on YouTube. I wonder what my parents would think if they knew about this... They might think it's a little weird. Which is why I'm not telling them about it.

Well, everything is okay, I guess. ("I guess" being the key words there.) I don't really have much else to say, so...bye!

Yay for the end of writer's b

Yay for the end of writer's block! I had writers block for the first month and a half or so that I was at college, but thankfully it's mostly gone now. Manga is fun.

Great job! Writer's block sucks. =P

And I'm a pretty big anime/manga fan. I reccomend Saiyuki, and Gravitation. =)

Be yourself. Because if you're busy being someone else, then who's gonna be you?

Saiyuki's my favorite anime

Saiyuki's my favorite anime series, and I liked the Gravitation anime. Nice to see that someone's heard of both of them-I thought they were pretty mainstream, but I don't find a lot of people who've heard of them.

Ah, the past

I used to be a crazed fangirl of anime. I still love it, but it's not a controlling factor in my life anymore. I don't avoid going out for fear of missing an episode of Inuyasha or Fullmetal Alchemist. In addition to anime, I enjoy watching Avatar the Last Airbender.

Friend, we have some in common. My parents thought me to be very strange when I was in my absolute obsessive anime phase. I also enjoy writing stories, which I need to improve on. I am constantly hit with writer's block, but not as long as you've been plagued with it.

I hope to read more of your journals in the future

~May the spirits guide your every assure you please her in all the right places XD

'By the Sword' is also the

'By the Sword' is also the title of some book I've either heard of or read. It's by Mercedes Lackey, I think. And I recommend Yami no Matsuei (Descendents of Darkness in America), Fullmetal Alchemist (manga and anime were both amazing), Naruto (but not the dub-evil, evil dub), Chrono Crusade, Hellsing, Rurouni Kenshin, Strawberry Panic (it's shoujo-ai, yay!), Revolutionary Girl Utena (another shoujo-ai), Ouran High School Host Club, and a lot more...I'm fairly obsessed, and I've found very few series that I didn't like. Although the Yami no Matsuei dub actually made me scream out loud, it was so horrible. I don't recommend the dub, but the manga and the subbed version are both good.
