I'm back in the city after a month of purgotary in Southern California, the supposed home of The L Word. I found myself wallowing in the complete shallowness of everyone I met and everything we did......I felt like I was shrivelling up from a lack of interesting activity/conversation. Maybe, I just didn't get to see the great parts of LA etc, but really, I'd take New York any day, any time.

I'd forgotten how beautiful this city is - from the garbage on the sidewalks to the myriad of people walking the streets at midnight - to the shopping and the sites. I love this place. I feel like it's starting to be my home. Now all I really wish is that I had someone special to share it with.

hugs, luck, and peace

and none has conquered but love
a girl's glance working the will of heaven
pleasure to her alone who mocks us
