This is my poem. Kind of an experience only exaggerated. It's dark, but I find it kind of inspiring. Tell me what you think.

Sometime's she feels like life is passing by,
She observes, but never joins.
She's not interested in the games they play,
The lives they live, controlled by their loins.

What happened to love?
What happened to passion?
Seems like these days,
Ignorance has become fashion.

They think they know her,
How she lives, who she loves.
Living in an invisible cage,
She lives the way of the Magician's doves.

She never shows who she really is,
'Cause no one would accept her.
She doesn't care what they'd say
Doesn't save time for insults they send her.

She searches for her own,
No relief from the reality she hates.
She can't break free,
She suffocates.

Drowning in the intolerance,
Dying inside.
She can't keep it anymore,
She can no longer hide.

She breaks free from her cage,
Spreads her wings for a moment.
Before she can truly live,
She's caught, again, in torment.

She falls hard, in love,
Her knees hit the floor.
Once again, a caged dove,
She can't take anymore.

She was free to love,
But she picked the wrong one.
One who didn't love her,
But used her for "fun".

She had been free,
But got caught once again.
In the web of lies,
She decided the end.

As her eyes slowly closed,
Her last glimpse of life.
The darkness enclosed her,
And ended her strife.

Now she flies freely,
The freedom she lacked.
Her wings beat the air,
She never looks back.
