Win a signed copy of Transparent!

You can win a signed copy of Cris Beam's "Transparent: Love, Family, and Living the T with Transgender Teenagers."

All you have to do is enter by sending an e-mail to:

Just include the keyword "transparent" and your Oasis username to that address. The more that people enter, the less of a chance Hyacinthus wins!

By entering, you are confirming that you are able and willing to receive the item if you win, which will come without any information within the envelope but with my return address on the package.

Please only enter for stuff you actually want, to increase the odds that someone interested in that item will win it.

Deadline for all contests is Friday, March 16 at noon PT. Good luck.

Okay, so a transgendered

Okay, so a transgendered person is someone who believe that they are born in the wrong body, right? As in, a man who wants to be a woman or a woman who wishes to be a man?

I always get transgender and transsexual messed up.

well...

I think transgender is tghe more inclusive term, but both mean pretty much the same thing. But like most terms for trans stuff and all the things that mean bi, it's hard to keep it all, err, straight.
