H, as in "Hetero".
Hold on, I'll explain.
Well, you see, since I've heard the French are infinitely more accepting of homosexuality, and since I can understand the stuff, I decided to find out if it was true.
So, on a whim, I looked up "gai" on French Google.
Sue me. I was bored. But guess what? The thing about increased acceptance is true, at least on the Internet.
I say this because I came across this: http://forum.lgbth.com/, a website in which not only our mind-buggeringly large acronym-sandwich is invited, but the heterosexual community as well.
That, I thought, was pretty amazing.
They have forums for people who want to ask the LGBT people questions, for people near them, for gay-parented families, for discussion of politics and rights, actions taken by the gay community, culture, health, etc.
Oh, yes. They also have a general forum. Like nothing wasn't covered already.
I still can't get over that the heteros were invited too.
I haven't seen anything like that in the English-speaking world at all. I know what I'll be doing this afternoon...
Not that I'll abandon Oasis, of course, but....woah...
