I have SO much respect for

I have SO much respect for Ellen, and I love that she said all this on her show (considering the fact that she normally goes out of her way to avoid reminders to the public that she's gay). She's a powerful figure, and I'm so glad to see that she's using that power to effect positive change.

I just hope that people don't get up in arms because she said that her message wasn't going to be political and then started talking about the election. Hopefully she won't face criticism because of it.
