I feel like we should be partying in the streets!

I realize this is only the first step, but this first step is so huge I really feel like we should be partying in the streets. This is definitely one of those instances when I wish life were more like the movies, like all the traffic would stop people would get out of their cars to celebrate and hug each other. I can't even begin to properly express my feelings for this because I'm just too excited.

Err...

My understanding is they are gathering in the Castro to celebrate right now. Not sure, as I'm getting ready to go see Crowded House.

Good chance there's something going on in WeHo.

WeHo street celebration

Yeah, apparently at the corner of San Vicente and Santa Monica, unfortunately I had another event to go to.

Well...

After Crowded House, when i got off the bus, there was a band of young guys in their boxers playing on the street corner, the hot too-young guy I was making eye contact with on the bus ran over nd started paying Twister on the board in front of the band, and then a guy in 20 foot stilts walked by.

Although, to be honest, there's a good chance this has *nothing* to do with gay marriage, and is entirely heatwave-related, since we would normally have to be wearing jackets at night and we were all warm in T-shirts.

Walked home without chatting up Twister boy, no clear signals. Heh.
