Writing Workshop - Update and Reminder

Anonymous's picture

As of right now, I have 8 young, eager minds signed up for my Oasis fiction writing workshop. That is a perfectly respectable number, but I do still have room for a few more, so if you're interested, here's the original posting for you to read. It tells you how to sign up and gives you the gist of the project.

The specifics and first assignment will be emailed to the group on Monday, the first day of the workshop.

If you're on the fence about whether to do it or not, then do it! It's going to be fun, helpful and mind-broadening in many ways, and very low-stress. Even if you have no experience in creative writing, you'll have a good time in this workshop. If by chance you don't, well, no one is going to hold a gun to your head and make you stay...so what have you got to lose? It's all one-on-one, so no one but you and me will ever see your work unless you decide you want to share it, and everyything is going to be done via email, so you do not need to share any information except your first name (optional, but desired) and an email address (not optional, but if you don't have a safe, anonymous one, the original posting above tells you how you can create one).

All other questions cheerfully answered. Just post them here or private me.

So quit procrastinating already! Sign up!

Hugs,
Pat

Hmm...

Wouldn't everyone benefit from seeing everyone else's work improve through feedback and editing?

I tried that route already

I tried that route already with my last project. It tanked. As this project, so far, has actually drawn nine participants who actually followed the instructions and emailed me to sign up, I'm not going to muck about with it now.
