2 girls laying down and kissing is TOO sexual for TV? WTF?

Last night was one of those nights that I just needed to shut out the rest of the world. It was nice to take myself out of everything. You know? It sorta happened by accident after my computer decided to screw up and once I booted it back up I kinda lost place with what I was doing before it crashed, lol. Anyways somehow I got onto this funny video interview of the actresses who play the Spashley girls....LOL, That thing was hilarious! Honestly. It was this Afterellen.com video called Brunch With Bridget. I was happy I watched it cause it made me laugh really hard. They did a couple reenactments of scenes from SoN and they were hilarious!! Ha ha, they did the "Come out come out wherever you are" scene where Spencer and Ashley get caught by Spencer's mom. It was really funny. Plus now I have an undeniable crush on Mandy Musgrave :D It's weird, on SoN I like Spencer but in real life I definitely prefer Mandy who plays Ashley on SoN, lol. Anyways, I like her cause she was so cool and funny and smart and REALLY cute in the video. And she even talked about that in the "getting caught scene" that the network wouldn't allow the two girls to be laying down and kissing because that would be "TOO sexual" WTF? lol, that's just messed up. Anyways it was hilarious when they do the reenactment she's making fun of how the network thought they should show "lesbians having sex" LOL! She's awesome too bad she's straight :/

Anyways, she reaffirmed that yes indeed I am a lesbian! :) Now, my question is are there really girls out there that are as smart, funny, beautiful, good humored, and easy going as she is...cause that's hard to imagine. One of the most attractive things in a girl to me is a girl that can laugh and take a joke and be easy going....Where do you find these girls? or do they even exist??? :P

Haha, I was meaning to watch

Haha, I was meaning to watch that one when it came up on my RSS feed... and I left it unread for, like, a month, hoping I'd eventually get to it, but I never did... I need to go watch it now!

:D :D :D

Hehe, it's totally a twist on Shakespeare:) Sadly I can't take credit for making it up. It was something that was said in an episode of South Of Nowhere. I love it too:)

I can see one of the major networks not running it, but you'd think a small show on a smaller network would almost want to court controversy like that.

Even Gossip Girl did a whole ad campaign using quotes from some family group saying how offensive and morally bankrupt it is, heh.

I know. You'd think they'd

I know. You'd think they'd want to but no they were really timid about the interaction that went on between the two girls. They never got the same scenes as the straight couples and it was very obvious. I don't know how familiar you are to the show(If you're familiar at all) but there was one episode in the 2nd season where the girls made up after fighting for a while and what did they do right after making up? Spencer kissed Ashley on the cheek...The cheek! Then right from that scene they switch over to a straight couple and they are totally making/slobbering all over each other and then they proceed to undress each other....unfair much?
