Kids shows/movies from the 90s

Does anyone remember how cool kids shows used to be?
In this generation of Ben 10's and Power Ranger re-runs (re hashes?), I can't imagine how any child can grow up like that.

I remember coming home after school for disney afternoons and watching Darkwing Duck and Ducktails. As lame as it sounds, I still watch those shows when I feel all nolstalgic and lame. I remember ROFLing everywhere at Launchpad McQuack and his failures as a pilot. Even better were the disney channel movies like Brink (dude, rollerblading was so awesome in that movie) or The first halloween town.

It seems today's childrens programing either falls under being anime influenced (Like the Ben 10 series or -Shudder- Code Lyoko) or having no originality (any disney channel "Original" Movies of today.)

Anyone one else feel me?

I totally agree!

Lol, I used to watch the original Power Rangers show and movie. And Mr. Dressup he was fantastic :) The only anime show I ever liked was Pokemon. Arthur! Oh, Arthur I used to watch ALL the time. Now the kids shows seem pretty bland except for like, Spongebob Squarepants which is pretty much the only kids show I can stand.

Eh....I'd much rather watch Family Guy these days for the crude humour. ;)

COUNTERPOINT.

@ Showmelove: I dunno, I'm becoming a big fan of Flapjack and Chowder on cartoon network. Hell, There was some inuendo in Chowder, to which this day, I still swear the Police Lion/Chief of police are a same sex couple.

Well, I don't get the

Well, I don't get the Cartoon Network or Teletoon(Canadian Cartoon Network, I believe). I just get YTV(A kids station) but I don't watch it except for the odd Spongebob episode. Sometimes I watch cartoons with my nephew though, but I can't really stand the cartoons he watches.

And the innuendo you're talking about sounds like a "new" Burt and Ernie. haha. :P

I've been sick the past

I've been sick the past couple of days. And I have to confess that I have watched a few programs on PBS. It was quite nostalgic.
But most of the time I'd rather watch the regular teen dramas, or L&O. I don't know. I was in a weird sick state. So I watched 'em.
