My gay entertainment of the day

"Those girls are gay?!?!?!"

My mom - after seeing Marissa and Alex kiss (for the first time) on the TV show The OC. lol.

My reaction : "Umm.....yeah. But it was all a ratings stunt to get straight boys to watch." Yeah....

Her reaction was too funny. Then we were watching the next episode and they kiss on the cheek and my mom goes "ew" kinda quietly. lol. You know this could really piss me off but I think I've just gotten used to it. I just know that any time two girls or two guys kiss or apparently if they are gay and they even come close to kissing that she's gonna go "ew". Sigh...eh, but what are you gonna do? I'm afraid she's gonna have a heart attack next week when they kiss TWICE in one episode!! OMG! lol.

I'm currently reading the book "Fried Green Tomatoes At The Whistle Stop Cafe" by Fannie Flagg. I tried to read it a few months ago but I was so distracted back then that I couldn't, but now I'm really getting into it. It's really good. And Idgie's one of my favourite characters ever. Her and Ruth were just meant to be. Sigh....I hope I have a relationship like theirs someday :)

I also love the movie that was based on the novel. It's one of my all time favourite movies. It's also a movie that I can watch with my mom even though it's so incredibly gay...basically all subtext but still very gay. And we both enjoy it...I just know what's really going on between Idgie and Ruth ;)

And now I've just realized how late it is and that I have no time left to do anything I wanted to get done tonight. There's just not enough time in the day for me apparently. Anyone have any time to spare? :P

I like the light turned out, the sound of closing doors
I'm not like other girls who always felt so sure
Of everything thing they are, or what they're gonna be
Sometimes I'm just a girl stuck inside of me

- Hook Me Up by The Veronicas -------> I love them :D
