Quitting Smoking Day 1

FalconWright's picture

Fuck I feel like SHIT. It could be worse though, but it's still pretty bad.

I have the following withdrawk symptoms:
Mood swings,
Excessive sweating,
Dizziness, and Fatigue.

And occasionally I hack up black stuff, it's ick.

But I haven't given in yet, the encouragement I get from y'all on oasis really helps.

hacking up black stuff? ewwwww....

but hey, think about it this way, that used to be coating your lungs. you're doing the right thing kiddo...

so for those of you falling in love
keep it kind, keep it good, keep it right
throw yourself in the midst of danger
and keep one eye open at night.

Stay With It!

I'm sure your withdrawal symptoms are very difficult to handle. But the good side is that they are a constant reminder of the strangle hold nicotine can impose.

Please persevere, and refuse to give in. We're all rooting that you conquer the beast!

The withdrawal symptoms go

The withdrawal symptoms go away pretty fast- tomorrow will prolly be a lot better. Stay away from cigarette smoke for at least a week or so. I really mean it, withdrawal symptoms are not as horrible as that craving for smoke you get when you smell second hand smoke. Stay strong! It's difficult but it's possible
