Uhhhhhhh...

Well, I'm going to tell like everyone I know. But do I just go to the front of the classroom and just say "I'm not straight. At all. Or even close."? Do I tell everyone one on one? That's boring! What should I do to spread this?

er...

um...i kinda just wore my gay bracelet and some people would come up to me and ask...or i'd just kinda start talking about gay things/gsa...lol either they get it or they dont :p

That's so straight. No, seriously.

swimmerguy's picture

Well, yeah...

Yeah, I have my little rainbow wristband I wear, and I make no attempt to hide my feminine side, and yet people are still surprised when I tell them. I'm also wondering whether yo come out as gay or bi, as while I'm being increasingly certain it's gay, I would rather come out as bi and find out I'm gay rather than box myself in as gay, then find out I'm bi, like in high school.

i have the same problem

but i just say i'm gay because it's easier to explain...
i mean, i prefer girls but guys aren't that bad either
but i can only see my self with a girl when i think about
the future...so i tell them i'm gay/ a byke
byke: a bisexual lesbian
i would suggest gaybi but i think that's already in use
as a noob gay...>.>'

That's so straight. No, seriously.

I say gay. I'm unsure of the

I say gay.

I'm unsure of the fact that I'm totally gay, but I don't care, I say I'm gay. It's way easier for people to wrap their heads around a gay guy than a bi guy.

Trust me, it saves time. It may be lying and boxing, but hey, who cares? It's just straight people. ;D

Ferrets Might Be Pulling Your Leg...

...on rare occasions he tends to so engage-:)

But, seriously, why is it important that you announce this to the world? Do you envisage that your life will be improved after everyone (friends... as well as those who may not be quite so friendly) no longer view you as that handsome, athletic and scholarly enigma?

My suggestion would be to retain the mystery. Tell only those who may have a genuine need to know...

Think about it... carefully!

Must... correct...

Envisage?

Envision: To see in anticipation, to imagine.

Visage: Facial expression, look of.

Envisage: To display the future on your face. TELEVISION HEAD!

I'd say

Tell one guy. Let the rest find out. Don't make a scene

Well...

Coming out doesn't have to be announcing it, just stop hiding and protecting it, and see what happens. Just live honestly and it will all work itself out.
