He is very inteligent...

He's also very brave. I don't think I could do that at ten years old.
I want a kid like that when I grow up!

I think the Pledge of

I think the Pledge of Allegiance is a little outdated anyway. We no longer live in such an isolated society where different nationalities are separate and distinct from one another. To take an oath swearing allegiance to a single entity - to a single nation - is both ridiculous and impractical. I mean, if we really were so isolated, then China wouldn't peg its currency to ours, now would it?

I think we should just do away with the f'ing thing personally... I'm not American. Instead, I'm a human, living in a human world, with other humans.

i stopped saying the pledge

i stopped saying the pledge partway through sixth grade because of the "under god" part. nobody ever made a fuss about it though.
the teacher who sponsors GSA told us about this kid tuesday. my first reaction was "way to go kid!" and my second reaction was " 'with all due respect, you can go jump off a bridge'?" and some uncontrollable laughter.
