"How They Met And Other Stories" - David Levithan

"Realm of Possibilities" - David Levithan

"Boy Meets Boy" - David Levithan

"Kissing Kate" - Lauren Myracal

"Keeping You A Secret" - Julia Anne Peters

"Far From Xandu" - Julia Anne Peters

"Grl2Grl" - Julia Anne Peters

"A Vigil For Joe Rose: Stories of Being Out in Highschool" - Michael Whatling

"Dare Truth or Promise" - Paula Boock

"The Rainbow Road Series" - Alex Sanchez

"How Beautiful the Ordinay: Twelve Stories of Identity" - Various Authors

Here ya go. Enjoy!

I just finished it a few

I just finished it a few days ago and loved it. It didn't end how I'd expected, but i like it when then happens. I had to look really hard for it. :/ Gay books are hard to find in stores.

...and no, they didn't live happily ever after, but they would always remember those kisses as something beautiful

Yay for me!

I found it in a Columbus book store.

I started it last night and I'm already halfway done... :)

So far its totally awesome.

Lauren Myracle is one of my favorite authors. That probably plays a major role. Lol.

It was the first lgbtq book

It was the first lgbtq book i ever read. I re-read it not to long ago, too. It's awesome! All the stories are so different that almost anyone could find at least one that they relate to. I relate most to "After Alex", at least, i think that's what it was called. Anyways, yeah, it's an AWESOME book

Annie on My Mind and Good

Annie on My Mind and Good Moon Rising (both by Nancy Garden) are both favorites of mine. They're not really up-to-the-minute (Annie on My Mind is 1982, Good Moon Rising came out sometime in the 1990s), but they're very good. Annie on My Mind was the first book I read as I was starting to come out to myself.

I love The Realm Of

I love The Realm Of Possibility...
and I reccomend:

Ash (Malinda Lo) which is more a fantasy novel than a romance, which I liked.

The Girl From Mars (Tamara Bach)

Orphea Proud is okay but not the best

and in my opinion I've Known Since I Was Eight was pretty bad. Horrible writing, not the best plot, written as fiction but feels like it would have been better as autobiography, which I'm pretty sure it was.

I adore all of the Nancy Garden and Julie Ann Peters books I've read

Am I Blue is an anthology written primarily in the 90s and is mostly great but is a bit outdated and has a pretty strong AIDS overtone.

What Happened to Lani Garver (Carol Ucci) is an amazing yet gut wrenching book that has a lot to do with the relationship between gender identity and sexuality.

I'm absolutely sure there's something I'm forgetting right now...curses.

Maurice, by E M Forster, is one of the few books I read over and over and over without getting tired of it.
Also, I was surfing the web one day and found this site: http://www.afterelton.com/print/2008/11/bestgaybooks
Hope it helps!

Are any if these not

Are any if these not appropriate for a 13 year old?

Are any of these going to help my questioning self?

Books by David Levithan...

...are quite popular. Nothing too shocking :)

Will Grayson, Will Grayson, in fact, is quite humorous. Try it!

I read grl2grl

Twas ok, but there's so many little beginnings of a story, then you start a new cgapter with it's own characters and plotline, and none of them go anywhere after that.

Uhh...

I think that's the definition of a short story collection.

There's nothing horribly inappropriate in any of those I've read

... I do really love Will Grayson, Will Grayson. It won't help you with questioning... but it's an awesome book, and it would still be an awesome book minus the gayness. That's hard to find in an LGBT book. I think Kissing Kate is pretty good... and The Realm of Possibility is great anyway... Levithan is amazing...
No new recccomendations, sorry. :/
