My grandma was Schizo. It's genetic, right?

I don't think I have it. Just asking.

I believe

Most every mental disorder has genetic factors in it, along with some enviromental ones as well.

lol yup. I believe I am

lol yup. I believe I am harboring a Scociopathic sub-concious, and I have twitches and hisses that make me believe I am a mild Tourrets, but really I just have Anger issues... and self controll errors.... so I can vouch for enviromental. and genetic, cuz BOTH my aunts are Bi-polar.

lol well I would advise against it. normal people will become more f**ked up after, but "Fallen Angels" like myself will be uneffected.

Well, no one has discovered

Well, no one has discovered a single cause, but a genetic predisposition is believed to be a pretty important factor. Apparently there's not a single gene guilty for schizophrenia (otherwise there'd be either a lot more schizophrenics, or a lot less), but rather a set of genes which- depending on how many and which ones- make or predispose a person for schizophrenia. So, I guess, odds are you won't be genetically schizophrenic... you'd have to have a pretty fucked up lucky to get those genes in the 25% of genes you got from your grandmother, wouldn't you? I'm not a doctor or anything, but I think most schizophrenics must be a mixture of some genes and some environmental factors.
