It's a beautiful thing, the planet. The sky, have you noticed it's BLUE? BLUE! The rarest color in nature! Only effectively one food is truly blue- and that's blueberries. Ahh. And have you ever thought for a moment, maybe, just maybe, that nature was made so that we could destroy it and forget how precious it is?

Because seriously, it's awesome. I miss camping. I can't wait for summer, when I can go hiking with Katy and just sit in the woods or out on the boulders and the boulder cave and eat a little packed lunch and inhale that smell (god, the wilderness smells so different than any populated area. It's FRESH and it's almost got flavor to it. It's lovely) and just look at how gorgeous it is outside. Mmmm... And then go to the river and splash around in the cold water and maybe ask my dad if he'll take me to practice driving again.

Ahhhhhh. Happy Shelby. But I AM pretty much up to my ASS in homework, so I might do like, a late-night journal for the fun of it.

Peace out my buddies <3

The rarest color in nature?

It may be the rarest PRIMARY color, but there are tons of blue animals, and blue being the color of the sky and deep water, I do not think you can call it truly rare.
Nature was made so we could destroy it and forget how precious it was? I doubt it.

And, don't get too obsessed with nature. It really bugs me when people say "I wish we could be a part of nature, rather than just looking in at it."
There was a reason our species has spent it's whole existence trying to get out of nature. Nature sucks,
Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful thing, but I wouldn't want to live there. That's hard, and I would rather not spend all my time worrying about food.
We can kill an animal to eat. That is nature, and yet people also call it destroying nature.
We take a tree to get paper. We need paper.

I am a nature freak, yes. I

I am a nature freak, yes. I don't see why we need anything but living and trying to get food. Without a purpose like that, I feel like I'm missing something.

And nature, my dear, is perfect just the way it is. I do not think it sucks. What I think sucks is the fact that I cannot get more of it.

I agree

that I don't like how people worry about all the puny tiny things when they have all the big things already in place in our society.

But if you don't get petty, there's nothing wrong with society.

When people get lost, they often die. If you actually experienced TRUE nature, no trails, no packs, no food on your back, no safety nets, you'd probably die. Living in the forest sucks.

And, I think something's missing if getting food is all I'm doing.

I don't have to worry about surviving day to day now, that gives me time to do many other things. Like swimming.
I think working to achieve your true potential is much more fulfilling then spending all your time just trying to get your next meal.

You can swim in nature. Just

You can swim in nature. Just become a fish X3

I'm just sayingggggg nature's very underappreciated, and it's beautiful and I love it and I'm just in love with the planet right now and I just got into an arguement with Brea and I was very reasonable and Hannah was proudly surprised that I kept my temper undahhhh control

So I'm like, super-happy yet super-fragile right now! and I'm probably gonna be up all night! Yay!

I'm not disagreeing that nature is awesome...

But don't get into a love affair with it. It'll kill you the first chance it gets.
