Day of Silence

I personally did not participate in the Day of Silence because i forgot it was today and I believe that it was only powerful the first time. The more times it gets done, the more overplayed it will become and the less meaningful. I think that now isn't a time to be silent it's a time to speak out.

i tried to be quiet most of today, but it didnt work -.-
hm, the last thing you said, very true.
although silence is somewhat safer, speaking out feels a lot better than keeping quiet.

Oasis used to be a sponsor of DOS, until GLSEN got big and owned it.

Even then, I never quite understood the point. I thought it was amazing that one generation wore "Silence=Death" T-shirts, and the next one found silence to be motivational for positive change. I've always been in the former camp.
