APRIL FOOLS YOU FOOLS!

ShowMeLove's picture

Online someone gave me, perhaps, a neat idea. To come out on April Fools Day so that if anyone had a bad reaction or whatever you could just back out of it saying you were just "April fooling" them.

We had my sister's bachelorete party last the weekend, but I'm going to write about that another day because I heard and found out a few things that NEVER EVER EVER EVER needed to hear or know. And I got pissed off a few times over the course of the two days I was there, too. Oh, and we went to my older sister's cottage for the party instead of the ten other places she wanted to go.

Hope you're all doing okay!

Oh, and btw, I woulda purrrrrred like a kitten if someone had come over and scratched all my mosquito bites I had the other day. We got eaten alive out there!

Oh, yeah, also I think I kissed a female vampire in my dream last night...at least I'm pretty sure she was a vampire. In any event, it was weird. Anyways, I seriously need some sleep.

My friend's ex asked her out

My friend's ex asked her out on April Fool's Day so that if she rejected him he could play it off as a joke. Maybe I'm biased because he turned out to be a jerk, but that just doesn't seem like a good idea. The point of coming out is to clarify it to people, not to make everything more ambiguous.

I see it differently

I think if you're only testing the waters and are afraid that someone might react badly, that it isn't a bad thing to do.

"Why is it that as a society, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands?"

i know ...

i've had that suggested to me in the past as well, but i don't think i would do it that way personally anyway. glad the bacherlorette party went well...or at least not as bad as you feared ash...did they end out getting the stripper? crazy sexy-time stories from your family? ahahaha, i wish i woulda been there...and if it will make it easier, you can message me the things you 'never needed' to hear. lol

Mental wounds not healing, driving me insane, i'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train- the ozzman

My sister unfortunately(?)

My sister unfortunately(?) didn't have enough time get one because of all the changes in plans. Maybe a good thing because less awkward, but maybe a bad thing because it would've been hilarious.

I lived through the weekend so I guess it was okay. It would've been better had it not been for some comments that were made made. And, indeed, I also wish you were there cause then we could've laughed and been awkward together! Instead of me alone...in the corner of the deck. There was lots of sex talk. AWKWARD.

hmm...

That's an intriguing idea, come out on April Fools as a test. Kinda like the truth spell from Charmed, only they remember you telling them (maybe fooling them) and if you do say 'April Fools!' then you are left with the consequences of the truth.

You know I might actually consider this, but I'm not sure because I never pull jokes on people like that.

Oh and sorry you were the unfortunate meal of the mosquito's. I hate those little buggers!

Haha...

Yes, very much like The Truth spell. I always wished that I could do that so I could gauge people's reactions to things.

And I don't really pull pranks/jokes like that either anymore, but I might just do it some April Fools day. Just throw it out there and see how they react. If it's really bad then I have a way to back out.

And thanks :) The bites are pretty much all gone now but they were really itchy a few days ago.
