I apologize for interrupting your day, but someone you know needs to know this; if not you. Therefore, would you be so kind to take a few moments out of your busy schedule and read this, and then share it with others? After all, I cannot campaign alone.
Thank you,

“…and oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, not the poor, and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.”- Zechariah 7:10

Interestingly, since the first Hebrew Bible was translated into English, in 1611; the Scriptures have been the core essence of many debates. In fact, such debates initiated rallies that caused countless people to be imprisoned, simply because, they refused to be obedient to laws compiled in those ancient scrolls. As a result, judicial laws were enacted and people gained their rights of conscious, to believe or not to believe. That is why, today, the civil and religious rights, privileges and capacities of no individual shall be diminished or enlarged on account of his opinions or belief concerning matters of religion. But unfortunately, this still creates a division between people.

As a result, many more religious groups have been established, simply because, the Scripture teaches us, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”- II Timothy 3:16. However, many still find such ideology offensive. That’s why the Scripture teaches us, “Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, [judges]; to be ready to every good work.”- Titus 3:1. This is why we have judges today; to protect our civil liberties.
Yet despite there being judicial laws; people are still rallying for the right to abortion, employment, health benefits, and the right to marriage, especially same-sex marriage. Sadly enough, many American’s feel their right of conscious is still being denied, and in many instances, countless American’s are being forced into an age of totalitarian thinking; merely to accommodate those who trust in historical traditions.
In fact, even those with college degrees, and or who have studied religious histories; find themselves confined by religious philosophies. But, when one particular college professor began researching the Scriptures, in an effort to educate his best friends on why he should be allowed the right to live his life as he sees fit. Not only did he learn more about the religion of his choice, he also learned more about its doctrine as well.
Interestingly, Professor Sebastian Stanley, teaches World History at Wayne University, and has a strong belief in Christianity teaching. However, his sexual orientation has become the main focus of discussion amongst his friends, who too continue to follow the traditions of man, and argue that his sexual deviance is the very cause of his unhappiness. However, when Sebastian takes a stand against the Bible Committee for their revising efforts, and for implementing the idea that homosexuals wouldn’t inherit the kingdom of God; he encountered more hostility than he ever imagined.
As a result, he set out on a quest to understand the Scriptures, and while doing so, he finds a Scripture that reads, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”-Colossians 2:8. Then he found another Scripture that reads, “But the rightesouness which is of faith speaketh on this wise; Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?(that is, to bring Christ down from above: ) or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring Christ up again from the dead.” After reading this, he recalled reading the same Scripture in Ecclesiastes, which reads, “Who knoweth the spirit of man the goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth.” Ecclesiastes 3:21
Then, he finds another that reads, “… you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.”-Galatians 5:13-15
Once he finds this out, he then finds another Scripture that reflects the following message, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”-Galatians 5:1
Still, this college professor doesn’t gain complete clarity by reading these few short Scriptures. So he continues to study the Scriptures a littler more, and that’s when he finds a Scripture that reads, “I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord, so then with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.”-Romans 7:25
Soon after reading that, he finds another Scripture that reads, “Is the law then the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the Scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith, which should afterward be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For many of you have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond or free; there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3: 21-28
Assuming he now has the great answer to solve the world’s problem surrounding religiosity, he confronts his Pastor about the letter he received from the Bible Committee concerning their explanation for revising the Scriptures. Immediately, his Pastor points out a Scripture that reads, “Knowing this first that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation.”- II Peter 1:20 Then, his Pastor teaches him why the noble, Apostle Paul wrote, “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”-St. John 1:17
Shockingly, the Pastor also shares many more Scriptures. In fact, he points out “For God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise: and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.”-I Corinthians 1:27. Then, the Pastor shows him another Scripture that reads: “I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.”-Romans 7:21-23. Then, “Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight which he hath made crooked?” Ecclesiastes 7:13
Learning all of this, Professor Stanley comes to understand, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”-I Corinthians 14:33. After consuming all of this, he is reminded of another Scripture he read, which reads, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”-Revelation 22:18&19
Shocked, he confronts his Pastor about this and questions why the Bible Committee would even consider revising the Scriptures. That’s when his Pastor shows him the same Scripture in the Old Testament, in the book of Deuteronomy, which reads, “Ye shall not add unto the words which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.”- Deuteronomy 4:4
Then, his Pastor points out another Scripture which reads, “Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind.” -Colossians 2: 18
But when the Professor shares this enthralling wisdom with his friends, who too are just as concerned about his battle with his faith, his friend, Wendy, points out a Scripture that teaches, “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in faith; prove your own selves. Know ye are not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you…”-II Corinthians 13:5. That’s when his new friend, Michael, a world-renowned hair stylist, teaches him another truth.
“All flesh is not the same: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrials: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.”- I Corinthians15: 39 & 40. Then, he shows him a Scripture that reads, “Behold, I send an angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions; for my name is in him. But if thou shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto your enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries”-Exodus 23:20-22
However, when Sebastian finds out that Michael is actually an angel, sent from God to help guide him on his path; he is reminded of another Scripture that teaches, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches, I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”- Revelation 22:16
Eventually, not only does Sebastian gain solace with his religious belief, but soon after his trial against the Bible Committee is won, society too eventually comes to understand these few facts, “See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all me.” -Thessalonians 5:15 Moreover, “And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business and to work with your own hands…” -I Thessalonians 4:11.
As well as, “And be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”-Ephesians 4:32 “But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want; that there may be equality.”-II Corinthians 8:14
Perhaps, that is why the Scriptures instruct us to, “Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not and she shall preserve thee: love her and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom, and with all thy getting get understanding.”-Proverbs 4:5-7
In fact, I guess this is why the Apostle Paul wrote, “But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.”- I Corinthians 14:38. Because, when I began to analyze this more in-depth, it wasn’t long after that I found a Scripture that reads, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”- Timothy 1:7. Therefore, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”-James 1:5
“Neither shall they say Lo here! Or, lo there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”- Luke 17:21. “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”- Romans 3:28; because, “…by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”- Romans 3:20 “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.”- Romans 2:1
