Teehee... I wore crazy striped rainbow knee-socks to school by accident. "Now, how did that happen?" you ask. Well, I was in a bit of a demented, lovesick mood the night before, and found those socks randomly. So I put them on and started dancing around in them, okay? So I'm wacko. I didn't plan to wear them in public. So, of course, it somehow becomes 1 AM, and I'm too tired to take off the socks. My feet sometimes get cold during the night, anyway, so I figured it was an added bonus. In the morning, I was completely delirious (not a morning person) and forgot I was wearing them. So it was 2nd period when I look down and notice the socks. Being me, I started laughing hysterically while the room was quiet, and my friend looked over at me. I mouthed, "I didn't mean to wear these!" and gestured to them. She just rolled her eyes. I hope she didn't think I meant anything by them, and that I'm just into strange socks...
Something I noticed: Well, let me explain first. My brother is way, WAY too into Camp Rock for a 5th grade boy. He got a bunch of the songs from both 1 and 2 on my iPod, and I'm annoyed because they keep coming up on Shuffle. So there's one song called I Wouldn't Change A Thing, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas, of course. The song is basically them saying that they are so different, can't agree on anything, and don't really plan to do anything about it. The chorus has part that goes:
We're like Venus and Mars
We're like two different stars
I really, really hope they meant the planets by Venus and Mars. If they were referring to mythology, that's just not right. I'm sure that wasn't intentional, but either there's a sicko Disney songwriter out there, or they don't examine the lyrics nearly closely enough. C'mon. I guess not loads of camp rock watchers know Greek/Roman myths, but still... I know this is a really long journal, but I think you can handle it. I had a lot to say, sorry!
