25 hours clean

As some of you may know more than others, I am actually sadly addicted to my computer.

Its stupid how much I feel I need it.

So I've decided to take a break from Facebook, though not here, for various reasons. It has now been 25 hours clean of Facebook for me. Even when I sit and stare at the ceiling it makes me feel even a small amount better about myself.

It is painful though...restraining.

If you use Firefox...

Install Leechblock. Will help keep you honest. I use it when I write.

What's Leechblock? And

What's Leechblock?

And thanks, Jeff. I've gotta say I've missed you and your wit :)

This is why I refuse to get

This is why I refuse to get Facebook. I'm already addicted enough to Oasis - sometimes I break down and read a few posts before breakfast.

Good luck weaning yourself from Facebook. I'm glad you're staying with us, though.

When I saw the title of this

When I saw the title of this post, I thought "Uh oh, what addiction..."

Well! Facebook would be so much more fun if I were popular, which is why I'm a teensy bit glad I live under social gravel (kind of like a rock, but less so)- being deprived of FB doesn't have that much of a negative effect on me. But I'd still miss it. I applaud you!

Where do you live? Go outside and play in the snow. It's fun.

Yeah, no way am I giving up Oasis.
I made it 45 hours clean.
Now I'm starting it again.
