Best quote ever.

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter."
-Dr. Suess

Is that not the coolest quote ever?

Another random thing: Why do people enjoy Facebook so much? I don't have a Facebook page, and I never will, and I'm 15. It's pointless. It's nothing but drama and gossip and rumors and people posting pictures of themselves and saying thy're ugly so people will disagree with them and people collecting online friends that they don't even know just to feel like they've somehow accomplished something.

So yeah. Facebook sucks.
And Dr. Suess is a genius.
That is all.

facebook is for keeping in

facebook is for keeping in touch with people who live too far away.
remind me sometime to do my entire whole rant about how the internet has become an extension of real life and should be treated as such.

I've been debating whether to get Facebook...

Mainly it's Shneer-pressure, hehe. And Clueless. But anyway, it's just... it's Facebook... so I don't know.

Keep in touch with people

Find pictures of... people... aka a certain person... aka Bday...

Finally get Shneer and Clueless off my back

Add the Oasisians with Facebooks

What if I get all obsessed like the Facebookatrons?

Do I really want you guys to see pics of me/know my name?

It'll be one of those things that if I don't keep up with it I'm suddenly far behind, right?

I have no idea at all how to actually do it. Or any terminology. There are walls... do you call it your profile? Or something? What else is there, anyway? How do I upload pictures?

There's a place where you put gender and sexuality, isn't there...

I go on there for keeping in

I go on there for keeping in touch with other oasians and Internet friends...and for information about school and stuff :/

You're so beautiful, you made me forget my pick up line. ;)

I use it to talk to several international friends, and make it so people can know maybe several things they didn't know before about me, all in a glance.

Other than that, I do nothing.

No one escapes from life alive

Not saying it's super horrificly bad or anything,

I know alot of people keep in touch with friends or up to date on stuff, but i know some really stupid people who have done like super lameass shit on there and screwed themselves.
So it's more like whatever you do on it makes it bad or good.
Plus, i'm kind of a lazy ass who probably wouldn't keep up with it ^-^

Okay, facebook can be a good

Okay, facebook can be a good thing, but only if there's a balance. I mean, it just seems like everyone who starts on facebook becomes obssessed with it. And I can't tell you how many fights I've seen that have started on facebook. Yes, it is good for keeping in touch with friends. But a lot of the people on facebook are self-obssessed drama queens. Just saying.

Eh, I don't drama on

Eh, I don't drama on facebook, I hate drama. |D; Sometimes I post silly things on my status or random stuff, but I mostly use it to see what my friends are up to/keep in touch (like others have said) and organize events. It's insanely good for event organizing.

Oh, and it's pretty good for finding new bands to listen to. Haha, sometimes I go through my friend's pages and look at what artists they have listed and go from there. XD;

I know people that are fond of posting drama. Those people don't show up on my newsfeed anymore. :P

Facebook is what you make of

Facebook is what you make of it. After all, you decide who you're friends with and what to do with it. You get self-obsessed people when you befriend them. I have facebook but I check it like once a week, you let it consume your life if you want. I know plenty of people who live on it, it's mainly because they have nothing better to do. It's like hanging out with your friends when you don't really have the time. It creates opportunities to have conversations with people you would have never had. I keep up with all my old high school friends that have moved away with it. You are always going to have the people you describe but that's just like in real life, it's just not in your face like on facebook.
