Extra credit.

So anyway, my Fall semester is about to be up soon. Next week I'll get some classes together for Spring semester. Then it's the long break! However the only thing bothering me is that my semester bus pass will be up also. So I'll need to get two monthly passes eventually if I ever want to go anywhere.

It's not so bad all in all, just a tiny bit less convenient. Anyway, I've been thinking about getting the Kindle Fire for a present to myself. But I should really make sure my college has the e-books I'll need once I get my classes together. So that way I wouldn't have wasted any money. But worse comes to worse I still have something to entertain myself with. lol

I have good news that only pertains to me but I'll type it anyway! My phone's battery life has decided to maintain it's good battery life like it used to, two weeks ago. For some reason the past two weeks it was mazing out it's antennae signal and that used a shit load of the battery. I have no idea why, but it's all good now.

I also rediscovered my Nintendo Wii, so I've been messing with it a bunch. I figured this out back in Senior year that people in later age do such recreational things for escapism. I don't know what I'm trying to escape though. Maybe I'm just still transitioning into adulthood and still letting go of the old things.

I'm not bashing here but has anyone ever read chapter 28 of Deuteronomy? It's starts out nice then it goes absolutely brutal. I was kind of shocked.

So on my extra credit, 82 questions and I just did the stuff I knew. It was for Math and it should boost my test score tomorrow. I was procrasturbating all week about doing it but this weekend was perfect to do it. So I did it and yeah it's gonna be great. That's all for now, totsiens.

Mental wounds not healing, driving me insane, i'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train- the ozzman

Hmm...

Depending on how you plan to use it, I personally prefer the other Kindles to the Fire. the e-ink on the othes is much easier on the eyes, you can read longer without strain, and when you do get strained, you can flip it to white text on a black background and keep going.

A more traditional screen like the iPad and Kindle Fire are not ideal for reading for long stretches, that college work might require, so just something to consider. I got the Kindle Touch 3G, but it's at my mother's house in a box. So, I won't get to check it out until nearly 2 weeks from now, after I officially move and have a little escapade in NYC.

Well,

you're right about that. However I'd like to have something that's also capable of other tasks. But yes the big disadvantage would be the backlit lcd screen with the eye-straining and such.

Just to see if I got things right the last time, you moved to NYC recently? I have a bad memory. lol

Neat!

but will you miss San Francisco very much?

jeff's picture

Well...

There are very few places that are an upgrade to San Francisco. I just happen to be moving to one of them, so that'll make things easier.

I'll miss some people here, but otherwise, NYC will cover all bases.
