And it seemed like it was only yesterday that I was persisting in the (clearly false) belief that I had essentially forever to accomplish all that I had ever dreamed of doing!
Don't make this mistake... start now! We are not immortals...
As I recall, there was nothing in his journal that reflected badly upon himself...
In fact, it went a long way towards defining his current feelings.
He may have written his thoughts while not quite "present"... really dunno. But I think he (as well as anyone else who deletes elements of a journal) is doing themselves a disservice: this is who they were!
If one regrets having posted something (other than being disrespectful of others), the best course of action would be to follow with a "clarifying" journal...
Oh, well... what's done is done...

And... btw, Dave, I remember you from way back... and I immediately grokked at that time that you had a very promising future. I still do...
