So my first very real, very gay set of news might take a while to write but I'm thoroughly excited. You'll have to wait a moment though c:

Right now, I'm sitting at home eating breakfast and watching Harry Potter. But SHELBY! you might say, It's a school day!

Well, yes. I'm in Running Start, a college in the high school program. So as it is, I go to first period (orchestra) and then I come home and I"m done with school (until college starts on the 24th, then that's a whole 'nother story, but I'll get to that when it happens).

So, I finallllly have time to write things!

FIRST THINGS FIRST, ACTUAL GAY NEWS ABOUT MY LOVE LIFE
as a preface, though- I have a long distance open relationship with a boy (he's kind of really awesome too).

Recently, I've been doing my routine of tons-of-show-band-no-time-for-anything-else, right?

Well, one day, I saw this blonde girl that I thought looked possibly gay. And my, oh, my. I thought she was so attractive.
So I told my friend (we'll call her Kye), and she was like DUDE C'MON I'LL GO INTRODUCE YOU and me being the little wimp I am couldn't.

So, Kye brings her over to the whole guard section, and introduces us one by one.

The girl says a quick hey to everyone, but when she gets to me, she gets really nervous and starts rambling and complimenting me at the same time. Yes! Score!

So, over time, we become good friends, eating lunch with each other and the like c: I find out a lot about her
for example: Her name is Michelle, she's got blonde hair, green eyes, she's a freshman, taller than me, and she's bi.

Mind you, this is the first time a girl has EVER shown interest in me. And I'm picky about my ladies. So here's a girl that likes me, I like her back, and she's super awesome and beautiful.

What's the issue?

Her boyfriend!

Yes, she has a boyfriend she's already in love with. However... At band, she was 10/10 on my dick, constantly. Holding my hand randomly, hugging me, asking me to rub suntan lotion over her back, laying on my lap.

Perfect, I thought. THERe'S A GIRL ON MY DICK FINALLY AND I CA"nT EVEN DO SHIT BECAUSE CONSCIENCE

But... We've been talking, become really close friends, and this weekend, I had her spend the night.

Well, first off- we spent like 90% of the time just talking. She is so funny. We laughed so hard my throat hurt. :P
We watched Dr. Who and Workaholics and we hung out and ate dinner :P

then around midnight, we made a bigass blanket fort in my living room,w hich was fantastic.

And, that's where things started to get.... interesting.

See, we had some serious conversations about her boyfriend, and I've found out a few things about him. He's ignoring her and losing interest. SCORE?

But, she started bawling when she was talking about this.

So me, being big momma Shelb, was all C'MERE LIL HUNNY LEMME WHISPA IN YO EAR and she crawled over and cried all over my chest.

Which I really enjoyed. The chest. Not the crying.

So we talked and I played with her hair and rubbed her back until she calmed down and then

but, there was another snag- I was on my back.
I can't sleep on my back.
Her head was also right on my shoulder joint. Which hurt like a mother.

So I spent 4-5 hours cradling her in my arms and listening to her sleep, which was actually really marvelous. She either is really snuggly in her sleep or she was slightly conscious, because she'd hug me sometimes, or move her arm, and even randomly sit up and talk to me for a little bit and then go back to sleep.

Her arm that was around me graduated from the floor, to my shoulder, to my chest, to my hand c':

everytime my clock chimed, she'd get pissed, and I'd have to shh her into sleep by playing with her hair or rubbing her back or kissing her forehead, and she'd be good again.

and then I realized I liked her a hell of a lot more than I used to
