Hmm...

Here's my July 1995 article that interviews Mary Griffith and the (now deceased) author of the book, Leroy Aarons: http://oasisjournals.com/Issues/9512/fea0795-prayers.html

Thanks!

I haven't read the book... but I'm wondering if you feel the movie faithfully portrays the book?

Never watched it...

I felt the book had Bobby at its center (emotionally), and my perception was that the movie had the mother at its center, which didn't appeal to me as much.
