Just Checking In

Hello everybody!!!
WOW I haven't been on in ages! I think I've really outgrown this site but I thought that I'd give a little update for anyone on here who cares to know how I've been doing :)
I turned 16 a week or two ago, and I think it's safe to say 16 will be a much better year than 14 & 15.
I'm the VP of the QSA at my high school as of a few months ago. I'm out to almost everyone I know. Most of my HS friends are queer & were really happy, and my BFF Dagny didn't even bat an eyelash :) I'm so happy that I have such supportive friends. I spend three hours after school on Thursdays and Fridays with the club and I have never felt so loved & accepted in my life. They even threw me a birthday party with a rainbow cake, which was amazing! <3
My confidence has grown so much in the last few months. I even have crush on--GASP--an actual lesbian! ...And I'm thinking of asking her out. To be honest that never would have happened before I found this site, and then the QSA. Everyone has been so helpful on my journey to coming out and accepting myself, and I just wanted to say thank you before I really move on to the next phase of my life.
Good luck and goodbye,

Equals growing out of the site?

Shit, I've overstayed my welcome.

Also, congratulations on the good life.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
and miles to go before I sleep,
and miles to go before I sleep.

What Perhaps said.

Except, I am glad to see your life has done some improving. Do continue to let us know of improvements. :-)

I'm so happy to hear that

I'm so happy to hear that everything is going well for you. You may not need Oasis as much as you once did, but don't be afraid to pop in and say hi every now and then.

congrats on turning 16!!!

You are one step closer to adulthood! That, and braving Seattle drivers. Lol. But I think you should give it a chance with this girl....see what happens. Also glad you found a qsa/gsa at your school...somehow, the one at my junior college existed, yet when they were supposed to meet, there was never anyone there. Glad you are doing well, Marcie. -hell Mental wounds not healing, driving me insane, i'm goin' off the rails on a crazy train- the ozzman
