I'm still here!!

Well, we all survived the big (not) y2k event. I'm still here, still queer, and my computer has never been better. I wonder how all those crazy religious people feel now? No end of the world, no return of the savior, no big terrorist attack (thank God, or who ever). I guess you could say all this was just another big media hype job. Its amazing how the media can take the smallest non-event and turn it into the biggest story since sliced bread. Not that the whole y2k thing was not a big story.

Coming out

Well, I have been giving this whole 'coming out' thing a lot of thought lately. I am getting to the point where hiding my secret from my family is starting take a toll on me. I think my family would take it okay, in fact, I think they probably already know. And by family I mean my mom and dad. I don't know how I would ever be able to tell my grandparents.

I don't think they would have a big problem with it, but it would be very hard to do. I am going to start to write a letter to my parents. I think I can get a lot more out that way instead of just sitting down some night and telling them face to face. I would like to hear from you guys out there who have told your family.

How did you do it? What was their reaction? If you could do it over, what would you do different? Did you find that your family pretty much already knew? How did you tell your friends? What were there reactions? Any help you can give would be great. I love to hear from everyone out there. You can write me at: tyler4us@hotmail.com
