Come out, Come Out Where Ever You Are!!

Well, I finally got the courage to do it. I finally told my parents my big secret. I didn't exactly tell them like most people. I kind of did it in a cowardly way. I wrote them a letter and left it on their bedroom mirror one morning before I went to work. I did not see them again until the next morning. And when I saw my mom she was acting like nothing was different. I figured maybe they did not read my letter and I started to be a little upset that they may not have known. Well, then my dad came home from work to take my mom somewhere and when he got home he walked into my room and sat down on my bed and started to talk to me.

I felt so ashamed and embarrassed to have him talking to me. He started by telling me that no matter what ever happened, he and my mom would always love me. He also said how hard it must have been to write the letter I wrote. He also said how hard it must be for me to have to carry around such a burden. The whole time he was talking to me I could not look at him. He said that later when he and my mom were home and we could have some time to talk together we would. (You see, my mom left that day for a wedding thing for the weekend, and I just got home today from a Spring Break trip with my cousins to Key West. And just to let you know, I had to play straight for the week....that sucks). So, as I write this, we have not got to have our talk yet, but hopefully this weekend we will.

So, all in all I think things are going to work out good here at home. Now I have to start looking to coming out to some of my friends. I don't know if I will ever be able to come out to anyone at work. I can't really go into the whole work thing because it would reveal too much information which could be dangerous for me.

So, if you are out there and are having a hard time with coming out to your parents, please write me and I will do what I can to help you out. And to all of those people how wrote to me with encouragement....Thanks a Million!! You are great people to have as friends. And to those special friends of mine, you know who you are, thanks for everything, I could never repay you. And to Oasis, Thanks a Billion. You provide a great service to kids like us out there who really have nobody to turn to. You help so many people,

As always, please e-mail me everybody, I love to get those e-mails. You can reach me at: tyler4us@hotmail.com
