I hope you all enjoyed the tunes from the last article, even if there wasn't any sound... but nonetheless, hope you could hear them on your own. I know I messed up the Uninvited lyric, but that goes to show that I do what lots and lots of people do, I hear something interpret it to how I want it to sound and consider that the real sound. Damn, I used to be original too. I guess after awhile, when everything's been done, it's kind of hard to be. Oh well.

Hypocrisy

For many years I had been talking about the horrible plague that is hypocrisy. It's only until a few months ago that I realized I was a hypocrite. I would have told you sooner, but hell, I was tired. Now, I pretty much understand that aspect of myself. See, there's nothing wrong with being a hypocrite, pretty much everyone is (not that you should be like everybody, or are), but most hypocrites can't admit to themselves that they are one. I have fully admitted I'm one, so I have no problem with it. I'll start a conversation by saying I'm a hypocrite sometimes. It all comes down to beliefs, and some of mine conflict, like many people.

But that's ok, because I'm willing to admit that. If the world would admit it's hypocrisy and just say what they meant it'd be a lot more livable. Maybe. It's when you call a hypocrite a hypocrite that they get upset, if they don't think they are. But they probably are. If you call them on something and they say, 'well what I meant to say was...', then you pretty much have got them. Because that shows that for some reason or another they agree with you, but they can't admit it. Being hypocritical isn't really something to be frustrated about, only if you're the biggest hypocrite by saying I'm not a hypocrite.

Hopefully that wasn't too confusing.

Religion

Ohh yes, religion... I've brought this up before. I'm pretty much opposed to religion as a whole because there is a lot of bad that comes from it. But, I found one I agree with and actually believe in. As shocking as that is, it's true. I've been studying it online for a good number of months now and have talked to other people about it. It's one of the only religions I respect, if not the only one. I hope to convert to it someday too.

I'm talking about Wicca. Wicca- the white magick religion, one of the oldest in the world. There are lots of misconceptions about Wicca, like that it involves devil worship, which isn't true. I got in an argument with a Christian friend of mine about it; she said that it has nothing to do with god and is powered by the devil. She's half-right, it has nothing to do with 'God'. But the devil has no part in it either.

In Wicca, there is a God and a Goddess, and other demigods. The only rule of Wicca is to not harm anyone with the powers. Now, throwing lightning and flying without wings are impossible, if you do that, it's not magick, it's illusion. Wicca is a very natural, internal religion. When casting spells or incantations, an assortment of herbs, stones, gems, minerals, and other natural objects are used. Meditation is a big part as well, it's helped me focus more and be more open to thoughts.

Now, unfortunately, I don't think I'm ready yet to convert to this religion, and I don't have the means to either. But I have been given personal proof that this is a true religion, there's nothing fake or wrong with it. So, I look online and other places to read more about it. I don't bother trying to perform anything except meditation as I believe it won't work until I am a Wiccan. If you want to know more about the religion, go to http://www.SpiritOnline.com and you'll be able to get a lot of information, it's where I get most of mine. If you have questions for me about it then go ahead and ask.

Until then though,

Tommy
