"Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go" – T.S. Eliot

Wow, my first article. There seems to be a lot of new articles recently, hmm… wonder why? Its probably just school starting, people feeling good about themselves, good stuff in the air. Ok, some info about me, since I’m sure that everyone is dying to know. I’m Mordoc, just in case you haven’t already figured that out. I am 17 and gay, I live outside of San Francisco, which I have to say is an incredibly fun city with TONS of stuff to do, and I am a senior in high school.

Well, that was quick, want to know more? OK. I just started my senior year of high school, which feels really strange, lots of new people, college applications, tough classes… you know, all that fun stuff about senior year. Perhaps the most annoying part about it is that I am part of a graduating class of only *drum roll* 6 students. I know its tiny, but there isn’t really that much I can do about it. Most of the problem stems from the fact that it is a new school and I am in the first graduating class, there should actually be a larger class of students graduating in the future. I LOVE theatre and acting, I just found out that I got one of only 8 parts in the school play and I am totally excited.

Anyone wondering about my quote? Well, I have been trying to take on so much lately, full course load, theatre, student government, a bunch of clubs, volunteering, I bet I’ll burn out soon, but there is just so much that I want to do, so I try and do everything. How far can I go? I guess I’ll find out eventually.

This year feels really strange. I can hardly believe that I am a senior, everything is moving so fast. I just got back and started talking to my friends, it's so exciting, but also scary. I just want to have fun and do the best I can. Well, I’ll cut my ramblings short, because that is what they truly are, hopefully my next article will be more organized and I will have a more precise topic to discuss. I had one for this article, but I forgot it, so you get my ramblings.

Feel free to send me an email at mordoc2000@hotmail.com, I love getting email, and I’ll probably respond too. Catch ya next month.
