October 2000

Hey I hope all you people had a nice September!!

It's back to school for me and so far I'm liking it, except for that poetry garbage, which is a total waste of time. There aren't that many gay people in my school that are 'out', and the ones who are, are freaky and goth ....not that there's anything wrong with that. That brings me to a question: Why do people try so hard to distance themselves from society? And I'm not talking about the promotion of one's individuality, but the anti-societal feeling that you get from people who really loathe pop culture. Like WHAT is your problem?!?

Anyway I haven't found a guy yet, and I don't know how. The only gay person I know is a total slut. I was going to the gay bar with my friend who is having a baby in December, but I didn't think that would be a good idea. Is it even possible to meet someone (who isn't a slut) normally? I saw 'Queer as Folk' this week and I think it shows how slutty guys can really be. I don't know if it applies to all guys, but it seems pretty common to me. Is it even possible for guys to sustain relationships? Why is it that dykes can keep relationships for years?
