A little bit of Everything....again.

"...Well I'll smile and remember it all, Then I'll turn and go. While your story's completed, mine is a long way from done."

---Sister Hazel "Champagne High"

[Be warned, I'm on a quote kick today!]

I used to watch a show called Bug Juice. I noticed it's on again [yeah, on Disney but its good]at a new camp. Basically it follows a group of kids over the summer while they're at camp, but its not like those D@&n reality shows. It's more of a documentary feel to it. I have always wished I could go on some big adventure. Kind of like in the Gary Paulson novels, get lost for a month in the wilderness and be found in perfect condition, or just being at camp away from everything I know for 3 months. My friends and I always plan some trip-something our senior summer, or a college road trip-to some exotic location, like Alaska and just kind of face the world. It'll never happen.

"To dare to live alone is the rarest courage; since there are many who had rather meet their bitterest enemy in the field, than their own hearts in their closet."

Instead of going to the woods for a month, why not live out there? I can understand why people would go and buy land in the mountains and go into civilization once a month, if then. I was bringing up recipes at work on our computer. Most of the pies and such we needed recipes for said this: 'Pie, Cherry, Homemade 10'. Thaw, Serve.' HOW ANNOYING IS THAT? You can buy 'homemade' and 'old-fashioned' foods, that are just pulled out of a box and cut up? I have new-found respect for the Amish families that live around my workplace. I would love to just live somewhere secluded and tend a garden and cook REAL homemade food and have ONLY friends and family visit me [and visit often I hope :) ]. I'd have to hang a sign to unwelcome visitors: Trespassers WILL be shot and survivors will be hung at dawn. I think I should have been born 100 years ago, when a Homemade pie was actually made in a home.

If you have a nice little adventure story, tell me. Maybe I'll finally get out of my chair and go wrestle a bear in the woods or something.

"Hey hey Did you ever think There might be another way? To just feel better, just feel better about today?

If you want to be somebody else, if your tired of fighting battles with yourself, if you want to be somebody else, change your mind Change your mind

Oh no- Take it all in, the worlds a show and you look much better, look much better, when you glow"

I can remember too many times where I've been somewhere and watched someone holding their girlfriend/boyfriend and I always feel depressed. I remember a field trip a few years ago to Chicago. There was a little kiosk selling necklaces and the like, and there was this guy, a friend of mine, who had his arms around his girlfriend as he bought her this little trinket on a cord. I remember being depressed the whole rest of the trip. I have never had a real boyfriend [let alone a girlfriend] until as of late, but Droo lives WAAAY too far away!. I've also tried losing some major weight, and it never happens. I try drinking all the water I'm supposed to and I feel like I'm drowning! I hate society, we're all supposed to be perfect. Well, I forgot where I was going with this :).

Well, send me a comment! tgbfgh@yahoo.com. This homemade article, like those Cherry Pies, has been packaged with 'Fresher Ingredients, Healthier Ingredients, and TRIPLE Easy-To-Open[tm] packaging'
