That Boy

By Michael Hall

No one wants to know
No one wants to care
About the boy who always is but not there
No one asks what
No one asks why
Then that boy starts to cry
They all call his name
They all seem to care
When the boy cries of life not being fair
Now they yell his name
For it is a shame
That the boy hates his every being
He wants to be like them
He wonders why they care for him
When they find out why he was that way
The boy who turned out to be gay.
