Two poems by J Burns

by J Burns

fountains of shared fluids
coming repeatedly
sometimes together
trying everything
binding each other
releasing yourselves
quenching all vestiges of thirst

* * *

soft drips

by J Burns

loose joints and spent loads
limbs like a sloppy garden hose
unwound love, pools of water
dripping carelessly

kisses like faucets
pouring out sweet secrets
soft drips caught inside
echoing profusely
