Don't you just hate those people who try to convince you that homosexuality isn't something that you have to deal with -- after all, it's not like you're born with it -- and so you should get straight ASAP? Well, one of those people apparently read my column in December's issue. We had an hour-long debate (which you can read if you want at http://members.aol.com/doomguy/billy98.txt), which he would have continued even after I reported him for harassment if I didn't completely ignore him.

It just amazes me that people who don't even know me can concern themselves so much with who I sleep with. He claims to be a former homosexual, which is fine and dandy, but he refuses to realize that some people just don't want to change.

This all lead to something interesting, though. Have you ever had a friend who's more than just a friend? That's what Ryan was to me. Well, after reading the article I wrote last issue, and my debate with "Billy," he came out to me as bi, leaning towards gay. After talking for a couple minutes, we decided that we're a couple, now. So far things are going great. I'll keep you posted.

'Til next time,

Neal C.
