So many of you took advantage of my offer to download the e-book of my first novel, Orphan's Quest, for free that I decided to go one better this time and give Oasis members the chance to download book two, Scion's Blood, before it even comes out!
So I have a new marketing team helping me to make the most of my meager advertising budget. One of them told me I should be as controversial as possible in my press releases because that would attract more free publicity. So I'm thinking - geez, I'm just a gay HIV+ athiest Republican who writes gay books marketed at teenagers. What is there about me that could possibly be controversial?
Sorry I've been absent for awhile. I don't really have much of an excuse except I needed a bit of a break. I don't know if I can hope to catch up on what's been going on here, but I'll try and take a look back and see what you've all been writing about.
My first draft of Scion's Blood is finally done. Now it goes off to my First Readers for critiquing. As if that wasn't exciting enough, I got my ISBN assingnments today, which means my publishing company, Glynworks Publishing, is officially open for business. Right now I'm its only author, but I hope one day to use it to publish works by other GLBT Sci-Fi/ Fantasy/Horror authors.

I'm excited. Sal Sapienza, author of Seventy Times Seven, has offered to read Orphan's Quest and give me a blurb. Yay!!!
Hey guys. I just thought I'd call your attention to the following op-ed piece in the Washington Post by Republican Senator Alan Simpson. I want to illustrate that the view that all Republicans are anti-gay is just as wrong as the assumption that all liberals are pro-gay.
Oh come on now guys, that was my very first interview! How about a little feedback. Did I sound okay? Too stiff? Too dopey?
I'm happy to see some of you adding me to their MySpace friends lists. However, since your MySpace name is often different than your OAsis name, I'd appreciate it if you'd message me either here or on MySpace and tell me who you are. I can usually guess, but not always and I want to know who my Oasis buddies are.
Okay, I think this is the strangest poem I have ever written. I must have been channeling some beatnik or something. I don't know if I even like it or not, but I'm gonna post it anyway. I'm experiencing a certain euphoria today and this poem is the product of it. Sadly, I'm much too old to blame it on raging teenage hormones.
When I Fall
Alright, I'm going to bed now. My brain is full, but I'm tired, so hopefully I can get some sleep. Tomorrow I need to do a chapter cleanup, then start on chapter 28.
