I was just watching the movie Fried Green Tomatoes with my mom. It's one of my favourite movies. I love it:) I pretty much always have. I remember when I watched it with my parents when I was younger and thinking that there was something special about it and that I really liked that Idgie....probably because she reminded me of myself quite a bit.
Was that show not the gayest show EVER???
I mean really how were we supposed to believe that Blair and Joe were "just friends"?
Alright. So, earlier today I was watching Ellen Degenerous' talk show with my mom. It was a repeat of the first episode of this season that had Michelle Obama on it. So, anyways I had noticed that the whole time that Michelle Obama was on she never congratulated Ellen on her marriage. Now, you have to remember that this was the first episode Ellen taped since getting married.
I had a really odd dream last night that my sister told my parents that I was gay(I have no idea how she knew) and that when I got home they were acting all weird and like super positive about gay people and everything. I didn't say whether I was gay I just kept quiet.
So, today was our family get together to exchange x-mas gifts and catch up and all that good stuff. My grandma ended up coming too, which was really nice cause I havn't seen her for a little over a year. The day started off with a little small talk and then me and my nephews headed right for the basement to play some Rock Band!
So..............I was watching TV with my parents today and we were watching Bonnie Hunt's talk show. So, Mellisa Etheridge is talking to Bonnie about her kids and stuff....when she says "my wife Tammy bakes....."
My dad's like "Wife??? Is that what she said?...Jesus" and he sorta chuckles.
And my moms like "yeah" and they have a bit of a laugh.....ha ha...it's so funny.....whatever
It was a pretty good birthday. Nice and normal and the way I'd prefer it to be right now. I'm 21 which means that I can now legally drink in the United States as some friends and my sister pointed out today. Not that I plan to go to the states any time soon....Suckers, we can drink at the age of 19 here in Canada...ha ha. =D
I'm turning 21 today! Yay!!!
To be honest I already got the present that I wanted......which was to move. So, yay! It's been one of the best birthdays of recent memory:D
I think it was a little over a year ago I was at my nephew D's birthday party(It was held at my sister M's house). My mom, dad, my oldest sister C, my other sister M, my sister M's boyfriend(now fiance), my other sister's husband(that she's separated from), my nephew T(who's 7), my other Nephew D and his girlfriend were all there.
It's just like poetry inside
To hear you breathing by my side
Like I’m in Heaven and I’ve died
So glad you're with me for this ride

Well, someday (hopefully) I'll know what it's like to feel that way about someone.
Today I was out doing the last of our Christmas shopping with my parents. Anyways, while I was out I noticed quite a few really really cute girls, lol. So, that was umm.....interesting. It sucks though cause like I seriously look like I'm 15 or something. I've ALWAYS been told that I look younger than my actual age. I don't think that it helps that I dress like a tomboy.
I've been doing some research on GLBT life in this new city(I now live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada). So far I've learned of a few GLBT youth groups, a couple of GLBT clubs/bars, and a Queer pride celebraton in the summer.
