December 1st is World AIDS Day. For those of you that don't know exactly what that entails, it's a day to bring awareness to the importance of testing and knowledge about this growing concern around the world and here at home.
Me personally have known and/or know a few people that have confided in me about having this horrible disease and they don't deserve it. Lets help each other and put a stop to the spread of HIV and other life threatening diseases.
For those of you who don't normally read Adam A's colorful posts, please take a look at the latest one (1/12/10) entitled מיאוו (meow) (I know, they're all entitled "Meow". That's wjy I put the date there, sillies). In it, I reply with one of my now-famous (infamous?) lectures - one on a topic very near and not so dear to my heart that i'd like you all to read.
Thanks & hugs,
Pat

I have many news agencies attached to my so-called personalised Google homepage, including the BBC, CNN, Foxnews.com and Reuters as well as Gay.com's UK and US branches. This has seemingly been named "iGoogle" which in turn seems to be a rather eerily biased hommage to Apple's naming trend.
YEP YEP go cheek out my new forum post!!! Info about Dine out for Life which is on this Thursday for all you in Washington State!
Awww the guy in the vid reminds me of myself...a hopeless romantic who always meets the wrong guys! It's a French Public Service Announcement on AIDS.
One of the requirements for my immigration to Canada, is that I go for a full physical. Which will very likely include an hiv test.
As a precautionary measure, I felt I needed to go get myself tested. Simply because I didn't feel comfortable having a foreign government test me for something I wasn't already 100% sure of the answer of before.
Even though I knew I was clean, this has still been an incredibly stressful thing to go through.
