Jac's C.O.S.T.(Coming Out Story Told)
By:Jaquline Alyce Delacroix

Chapter One

It was one-hundred-eighty minutes before the Witching Hour, on the 30th day of the 10th month of the 16th year of the third millennium. Our character, a troubled young man, yours truly, is troubled by all that is going on in his life by the every day ordinary life wrinkles and by more than the strictly mundane. I'm lying awake with the worst seven-word soliloquy ever known to mankind running through my mind,

GLBTQG-Q Rights Rap!

(9.25.09 Friday)
For Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgenders, Questionings, and Gender-queers. (Yes, I have included you :D )

why can't people love?
why the push and shove?
why can't men love men,
and women love women?
it's how we were born,
i don't see any sinnin'.
and what's the problem with transgender?
it's not like i'm a sex offender
if god made me one way
i also have free will
in my life you have no say,
so keep your tongue still.
what's the whole big fight?
what's really the issue?
let us have our rights
i'm not trying to twist you, dismiss you

on going poem...whatcha think?

soothe thy inner flame
it burns thy soul and body
not known is it though

in the name of both
the god and three-fold goddess
may this be true love

in apothicare
our eyes meet over monkshood
and our hands both touch

as we both reach for
the same parcel of vervain
we become entranced

his eyes bewitch me
rings of purest, clearest blue
his soul on display

skin of cream-soaked silk
pale as moonlight on the sea
smooth as quicksilver

as i ask his name
i scrounge for a parchment sheet
found i scrawl contacts

the next day i see
a number and 'unknown call'

The Full Spectrum

So, I'm reading this book called The Full Spectrum (thus the post title), it's a collection of essays and poems edited by David Levithan (who rocks) and Billy Merrell (who I've never heard of before). (It's really good and if you haven't read it I highly suggest it.) Anywhoo, I'm reading along, laughing, gasping, and getting nervous and angry at all the right moments, and I stumble across this story called "A Story Called 'Her'". And this story really touched me. It reminded me poignantly of my current situation, but also gave me hope.
